On October 17, 18 and 19, the Movement Art International Dance Festival 2026, in collaboration with the Pina Bausch Foundation, will host a repertory workshop on The Rite of Spring by Pina Bausch, led by Luiza Braz Batista — guest artist at Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch and official restager of the choreographer's works for the Pina Bausch Foundation.
At the heart of the Lab is one of the most influential works in dance history: The Rite of Spring is considered one of Pina Bausch's landmark creations and continues to shape contemporary dance theatre around the world.
On December 3, 2025, The Rite of Spring celebrated the 50th anniversary of its premiere an iconic work that has profoundly influenced the world of dance.
