William Cardoso is a choreographer and dancer based between Luxembourg and Portugal. On leaving school, William decided to travel around Europe where he met artists from different horizons, and this also enabled him to continue his training outside the school system. In France, he works with Clara Villalba and Olivier Dubois (intern). He also engages in performative experiments with artists Florence Peake and Eve Stainton. In Luxembourg, he works with various choreographers such as Jill Crovisier, Giovanni Zazzera, Léa Tirabasso,... among other national artists. He joined Fabian Thomé Duten's company in Madrid. Later, he joined artist Andreas Constantinou's Himherandit Productions in Aarhus, with whom he has worked for a long time to this day. It has been also involved with the artist Valerie Reding on a political engaged project called Monsters.

The company opened in 2020, after William Cardoso was selected ‘new creator’ in the Luxembourgish dance field. This grant helped him to create his first work called Raum. The work premiered in 2021. The same year, William received a grant from FOCUNA to create his second work in Ufer studios in Berlin, a solo called Dear mum. In this work, the choreographer talks openly about his coming out inside of a religious family. In 2023, William created his last work called Baby that was created in several lace around Europe. The work premiered in October 2023 at the Escher Theater (LU). Currently, William has two new works going on. He received a new grant called Bourse Expedition that enables him to create a new work over the years 2024/2025. The other project is happening in Berlin at the Ufer studios again. This project is called Angriff and will premier in October 2024 in Kinneksbond (LU).
