Dancer and choreographer Kristýna Peldová (Czechia/Slovenia) and multidisciplinary artist Enya Belak (Slovenia/UK) joined forces in 2023 for their first collaboration, exploring the relationship between dance, movement, and visual media. Their work focuses on video projections and the interplay of analogue and digital techniques. ‘Unfolded Moments’ marks this initial collaboration and was produced by the Slovenian Institute Flota. The performance ‘Unfolded Moments’ received a special mention from the European contemporary dance network Aerowaves and was selected, out of 214 applications as one of ten contemporary dance productions to be presented at the second edition of the Moving Balkans Contemporary Dance Showcase, recognising its artistic quality and regional relevance. ‘RAPTURE’ (2025), their second collaboration created with the 23Poems Collective, has been selected for renowned festivals such as Malá inventura and Czech Dance Platform. The dance-visual performance is currently touring throughout the Czech Republic.
Kristýna and Enya are currently developing a new piece with the working title ‘PULSE’, which is set to premiere in 2027.
